Rufino Tamayo, Rodolfo Nieto and Francisco Toledo: three artists from Oaxaca who left home and found their first acclaim abroad. In Paris they fused pre-Hispanic and folk traditions with the avant-garde, and on their return they left the nationalist canon behind. Nearly 100 works at Museo Tamayo, Mexico City, through February 15, 2027; free admission on Sundays.
